While the Orlando area is usually known for its affordable housing, population growth as well as job creation has pushed certain zip codes out of reach for many buyers. Winter Park, Bay Lake, and Windermere are well known for their great locations, palatial homes and extremely high price tags. But that doesn’t mean affordable homes can’t be found, we have done some digging to find the five most affordable homes, in each of Orlando’s five most expensive zip codes.
32779 Longwood/Wekiva Springs – This area is described by biz journal as appealing to “savvy suburbanites”. Just 15-20 minutes from downtown Orlando, most homes are situated on over sized lots and have a character not found in newer “cookie cutter” neighborhoods. While some homes in this zip code can be priced in the millions, here are 5 all under 350k.

All of this comes with a price tag which is why Downtown Orlando is listed in the number 4 spot of most expensive zip codes. Still, we managed to find 5 great options around 350k.

32836 Bay Lake/ Dr Phillips – Known worldwide for its Bay Hill Golf Club, professional golfers and athletes have had a hand in making this this second most expensive zip code in Orlando. Even so, we didn’t have too much trouble finding the most affordable homes currently for sale.
